A Take with Flier Attire

In its first issue, Embro has collaborated with Flier Attire. Apart of its drop for Black History Month, the black owned clothing line inspires others to “elevate their fly.”

Flier Attire represents whoever is wearing it. Vines believes that labels in our society limit what potential we can create. So its values are quality, authenticity, responsibility, and efficiency.

In collaboration with models from the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Flier Attire shares and takes part in black unity and the breaking of generational curses.

In the images above Embro and J.Vaughn team with Re’Onna Vines to capture content that is catered to the black audience. A cultural hair store is one of the most comfortable sanctions for women and people of color. They come in to essentially get products for themselves because there is often little opportunity to go get them from a corporate store. The hoodies are dedicated to the comfortability of the culture, but the vision of the hoodie is all in you.

Each hoodie has its own story, the HBCU pride along with its importance to Black History Month brings representation to the culture. Slide through to see more of these models behind the scenes.
