Carsten-Grandy Richardson was inspired by his father Byron Grandy-Richardson to start Grandyworldwide. He uses his fathers name mixed with his own to creatively inspire others and continue his fathers legacy.
Along with his father, other inspirations such as his family and other business intels who know their own way around entrepreneurialism gave him the necessary information, tools, and tactics to become a successful entrepreneur.
Nonetheless, attending the biggest HBCU in the country, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Grandy’s opportunities continue to grow as a young black entrepreneur on a comfortable and conscious level.
Having to start this brand out with people who culturally connect with you is one of the best ways for customers to consume your products. With so many people to connect and embrace the style of streetwear in its peak era is an advantage.
