Full Circle with Walking Ticket

Walking Ticket is a streetwear brand created and designed by entrepreneur, designer, and student, Tyler Cozart. Items from Walking Ticket are another experience in the fashion industry of streetwear and signify a piece of passion and wealth within the production of its making.

Entrepreneur, Designer, and Creative Strategist

Walking Ticket was a concept that came to Tyler Cozart only a short few years ago on October 20, 2020. The idea came to him when he spoke to his mother about hoodies and how she thought he could take his fashion passions further in his sleep. His mother thinks highly of him as a designer and has been a big inspiration through his journey as a creative. She along with others in his family has pushed him to build his brand into what it is today.

Photographers Tune and TK, partners of Striker Studios, captured the essence of Walking Tickets design and structure. Working together on the cam, they produced amazing content in collaboration with Walking Ticket. Stay tuned for more of their technique and skill and be sure to watch out for their rise upon the business of photography together.

The brand is still young but stands tall as it gets a lot of traction in its community and the HBCU society. Walking Ticket started its sales in the city of Durham, North Carolina but increased as it reached a bigger customer base at North Carolina A&T, where Cozart continues his studies in software engineering and development. Working with other creatives and expanding the reach of his brand, Cozart has undeniably made a staple in streetwear fashion.

“Fashion to me is your outward expression of how you feel inside, you may put on an outfit and it gives you the confidence of a model. It helps people come out of their shells and loosen up because if you think you look good, you feel great!”

~Tyler Cozart

Walking Ticket lives by the motto  “live life for the passion first and for the money last.” The brand is based on the idea of having fun while making millions and not wasting your life and creativity in the process.

Being an entrepreneur has been a work in progress for Cozart and the progress is starting to make itself known. The creator started entrepreneurialism at the young age of 10, with a small jewelry-making business. As days grew longer and nights grow shorter, Cozart's main focus  eventually became the art of fashion and it changed his life.

Fashion became a staple to Cozart young and he expresses that passion with these curated pieces. He enjoys seeing other people wear his merchandise in their own outfits. Rather it’s an everyday fit or a pop-out fit just seeing people enjoy their pieces brings him motivation to keep going.

Cozart defines success as growth whether it's personal, creative, or business, if you’re doing better than you were yesterday that’s growth. Even if it is just one more follower or one sale, all good things take time and effort. It's important that we as creatives must know that we’re not here for automatic success or fame, we’re here for the process and the building of an empire.

Realizing how big your brand can actually get and how there are no restrictions on where you can go in the industry was a transformative awakening for the creator. Putting any limitations on yourself in this industry will only pull you back further and Cozart makes sure he pushes his limit through the brand.

Walking Tickets values represent the goal of financial freedom, creativity, and generational wealth. The purpose in building your own brand with its specific image in mind is key to the process of making your items stand out to the public. Cozart does it effortlessly as he represents creativity, hard work, excellence, and just having fun in the process.

It takes a perceptive amount of focus as an entrepreneur and full-time student to be successful. Juggling a heavy schedule or making a manufacturing mistake messes up the craft of any brand. But this focus is strong and Cozart. It made him lock into the success attracted just by putting in the work. He strives to get his brand's name out there through social media, by word of mouth during in-person sales, and by wearing his brand faithfully showcasing the brand.

Formally, clothing designers take a while to work on the specific craft of designing, but the effort that Cozart puts into his craft comes easy. The mesh basketball shorts are his most recent rapidly sold item that continue to sell widely in his community. The hoodies are new pieces being produced in the next drop. If you like these pieces make sure you stay on the lookout for more at https://walkingticketco.com and see what else Cozart continues to make as he continues his entrepreneurial journey in the fashion industry.
