In the world of the Ghetto Gatsby, I imagined fashion as more than just clothing – it's a form of self-expression, a celebration of individuality, an identity one of a kind, and change. Through collaboration and creativity, we as black creatives harness the power of fashion to challenge norms and redefine the narrative of art on its own terms. That’s why it’s so important to grow a community of creatives at this time in the world.

Ghetto Gatsby was a street style mix of luxury and the passion from the life that we take back and empower everyday. We create change by using the narrative of our own craft and breath life into something that wasn’t there before. Ghetto Gatsby is just a start to the many quest for Embro. When hands on creatives who know how to tap into their full potential to get the job done, creatives will forever be able to reign in collaborative spaces that only ignite the fire in us.

Shows like these are meant to establish a moment in time that create a level of growth and experience. The point of life is to experience. So as The Ghetto Gatsby curtains close may this be a fleeting moment in time, an impact that resonates far beyond the confines of the runway. Ghetto Gatsby’s power of fashion is a legacy that will continue to shape Embros landscape of style for many creatives, ideas, and experiences to come.
