Embro’idery

Embro Industries has seized the fashion industry, becoming a hub for creatives surfacing the east coast. With looks like no other bringing innovation and style, the debut of the collaborative artists in, design, style, black-owned businesses, models, photographers, and more who play many parts in the creative process was put into action.

With a team of artists focused on becoming the next big thing in the creative industry, creative directors Raynetta Nah and J.Vaughn took on a journey, making it the first walk of many.

April 1, the debut of Embro’s luxurious potential was fashionably executed at Belle Meade Street Parking Deck, in Greensboro, NC.

The amount of talent that comes at the hands of black creatives in one space was unmatched, to say the least. The abilities of so many unique individuals using what they know best to create a night of grandeur for captivated supporters revealed the significance of black artistry and culture.

The concept during Spring ’23 showed a mix of designs split into 2 original runways. The first runway was kicked off by up-and-coming Elijah Flythe wearing the original Black 4 THA DREAMERS jumpsuit from the Spring ‘23 fashion collection created by promising designer, DP.

Each of the looks expressed the personality and ambition of the models part of the show. More of the looks were executed in a collective brought to you by stylists Janielle Grey and Cheyenne Daniels. Bringing bright colors, power fabrics, and intricate detailing, the team produced an incredible showcase exploring fashion.

But the looks didn’t stop there. The show took a brief pause to highlight some of the many vendors and black-owned businesses that play a major role in the distribution of the looks throughout the second runway. The second runway was composed of a scene of events as a double entendre. Models walked out in sets of two revealing collaborative brands and styling including Earth2Heaven, GrandyWorldwide, Flier Attire, and Walking Ticket Co.

Each of the individuals apart of the show executed a vision of authenticity, making a name for themselves and the pieces that were displayed. Fashion is one of the universal languages of art that can be showcased in many ways and using teamwork to use each other’s talents was what made the show so beneficial for artists and memorable for supporters who continue to reassure the visionaries of their power in artistry.

Thank you to all of the people involved in the making of something so legendary. Embro Industries is committed to the passion that artists bring out of themselves to show the world the impact of art culture and the journey has only just begun.
